Created by Anouk Wipprecht + Ars Electronica Futurelab in Amsterdam, Netherlands , 2016
The vision of renowned Dutch Fashion-Tech designer Anouk Wipprecht in cooperation with Ars Electronica Futurelab, Agent Unicorn is a wearable headpiece specially designed to monitor the external triggers affecting children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Equipped with an inconspicuous camera, Agent Unicorn’s playful design is embedded with a network of EEG sensors, each situated to monitor the wearer’s brain activity. As the wearer’s attention spikes, the camera reflexively records external clues and causes, giving researchers the power to better track, identify and understand the roots of distraction.
