The goal of this project was to leverage the Snapchat platform in a new and engaging way for the 2019 rebrand of Adidas’ classic Supercourt shoes. Taking the idea from popular unboxing videos that are so prevalent these days and combining motion capture and photogrammetry, the experience is able to bring to life a virtual pair of sneakers, allowing users to place them in AR space as they proceed to dance around the environment. The campaign was an effective way to connect with their younger target audience, influenced by underground lifestyle & hip hop, by taking into account their social network habits.
