Created by Friedrich van Schoor + Tarek Mawad + Achim Treu in Pirmasens, Germany , 2015

Digital artists used real time projection mapping to create elaborate glowing collages of the natural world onto the surfaces of trees, mushrooms and frogs creating vivid choreography. In an homage to organisms with natural bioluminescence, the filmmakers spent six weeks in the woods outside of Stuttgart transforming the quiet forest into a symphony of incandescent vignettes. Bringing new context to human perception is a useful way to bring people’s attention to conservation and environmental issues.
