An exploration of the fundamental role shelter plays in the human experience, artist Leigh Sachwitz’s INSIDEOUT is a 360° multimedia installation built to resemble the skeleton of a simple house; its aluminum framework stretched with translucent walls that double as projection screens. Paired with an immersive soundtrack by Mouse On Mars founder Andi Toma, the house becomes a living canvas for Sachwitz’s projection-mapped weather systems, her beautiful manifestation of nature’s elements assailing the structure on all sides before giving way to a sense of calm and safety.
