Created by design I/O in Hall of Science Bridge, Corona, NY, USA , 2017

Imagined by Design I/O for New York Hall of Science’s award-winning Connected Worlds exhibit, Living Library consists of a large-scale, hardbound book — paper pages and all. With two cameras and a laser light projector, the interactive exhibition employs an overhead depth camera to track user hand gestures plus a high definition serial digital interface that anchors content onto printed page markers — creating tactile, interactive animations with the turn of each page that bring the book’s lessons to life.
