Created by Joanie Lemercier in Brussels, Belgium , 2018

French artist Joanie Lemercier developed a method for creating true volumetric projections by overlaying projected imagery onto a mixture of high pressure gas and water particles. Using common tracking techniques like sensors, his installation finds a balance between the tangible and intangible allowing direct interactive capability with the No-logram. Though not a true hologram, this combination of practical materials and motion tracking technology creates an interactive projection that provides new depths of manipulating air and light in real time.
