The Touchless Pedestal is Ideum's latest solution for non-touch devices in public spaces. Designed for use with large displays, video walls, immersive rooms, and projection-based environments, the system uses gesture based interaction to mimic a mouse based experience. The gesture tracking is powered by Ultraleap hand tracking and utilizes a built in Leap Motion controller. Not only is the benefit of a touchless system obvious amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but this system can also provide an interactive experience in situations where a touch interface would be impossible.
